Everyone In This Bank Is A Thief is the fourth installment of this series, and I desperately hope it keeps going because there’s just something about the perfect blend of suspense, mystery, and humor that draws me in every single time.
In this installment of the series we find Ernest Cunningham and his fiancee Juliet, along with several others, taken hostage in a bank heist. But not everything is at it seems. The stage is set early on for plenty of twists and turns and let me tell you that Stevenson did not disappoint, I lost count of the number of times I audibly gasped. I won’t give any spoilers, but I what I will say is this: everything matters. Everything. Every word. Every detail. It all matters.
Here’s a few more things to know:
- I found this book a bit more intense than a usual cozy mystery, but not so intense I couldn’t read it before bed
- there is a mild-to-moderate level of swearing, it didn’t over power the story though
- no spice
- it will keep you on the edge of your seat!
This is one of my favorite series to recommend and this fourth installment was the best one yet.
