This one was so cute! I really like Roseanna M. White’s writing style, everything feels so hopeful and light with bits of faith sprinkled in. This was my second book from her and I’m quickly becoming a huge fan, lucky for me she’s got a large backlist!
The book started a bit slow for me. There was a lot going on surrounding Lady Pearl, and a love triangle of sorts involving our FMC. But the payoff of the sweet friends-to-lovers romance with a surprise second romance story line (you’ll have to read it to find out!) is well-worth it.
The best part of the story, in my opinion, is that Moriah changed so many people’s hearts just by being herself. What a wonderful message to put into a Christmas book! Moriah fully embraced the whimsy and romance of her life. It endeared her to Cyril, but it brought life to those around her.
Excellent story, the narrator did a wonderful job, great writing from White. A solid read I would recommend to any historical Christian romance lover in search of a cozy Christmas book.
